Kindergarten Teacher Gift Idea

Here’s a fun gift idea for a Kindergarten teacher.

I found this darling book (one of my favorites!) at Hallmark and I had all of the kids sign the outside of the book.

I also taped a photo of the classroom inside the front cover so that she could put all of those little faces with names years down the road.

Teacher Gift<— We used a similar book for my son’s 2nd grade teacher, and I also found this one at Hallmark.

Such a fun way to leave a lasting memory of a great group of kids with a teacher!

The kids in the class presented this book to her, along with gift cards hidden on each page (each of the parents chipped in $5 which added up to over $100 with which to spoil her with gift cards from her favorite restaurants and stores) and it was so fun to watch her excitement as she read this book to them at the end of the year, laughing about what they had ALL learned in Kindergarten!

I am a HUGE fan of teachers and love finding special ways to thank them for all that they do.

For older kids, you might do the same thing with this Blessings For A #1 Teacher book which is on Amazon for $6.29!

Books that make nice teacher gifts

Here are some other books that I think would be fantastic to do this with, in case you can’t find the books I mentioned here:

Looking for other great gift ideas for teachers?

If you are looking for more gift ideas for Kindergarten teachers (or other teachers) here are a few. After speaking to many teacher friends, I feel like teachers love gifts from the heart, but they also love gifts that make them feel truly appreciated.

Definitely have each of the kids do something special. Sign their name, write a note, or even include a fun video.

If you have a budget to do a gift, make it something she will enjoy, and not something that she might get several of. For example, I think mugs, lotions and candles might be a bit over done.

I love the idea of gift cards to her favorite stores (as we did above) or what about a spa gift card?

  2. Hi Sherry, I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find that book anymore – it used to be in Hallmark stores. I did add some other cute books to the post that might be great for teacher gifts and fun to have kids sign. I’ll keep an eye out for that book, I’m so bummed they don’t sell it anymore! Have a great weekend!
