Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower
If you love easy recipes, this is one of my favorite ways to get my whole family to eat cauliflower. It’s one of my favorite vegetable choices, but I’ve got to be creative to get the whole family on board with that. I love serving this as an easy side dish but it also works great as a party appetizer or afternoon snack.
Cauliflower is such a versatile vegetable and there are so many different ways you can change up this easy roasted cauliflower recipe so that even picky eaters will enjoy it! When I’m doing my meal plans, this one is always a good option and a perfect pairing for so many of our favorite main dishes.
I like to keep a cauliflower head on my grocery store list as it’s affordable and is a simple side dish that I can add on a moments notice.
Make it SPICY!
For a kick, we love to add jalapeño peppers so make this a Spicy Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower. You could also sprinkle your finished cauliflower parmesan with red pepper flakes for an added kick. The more you make this great side dish, the more you’ll enjoy experimenting with it!
Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into pieces
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Lime quartered
- Grated Parmesan
- Chopped Jalapeño peppers (optional)

Notes: You could add a little sea salt for flavor it you like. Many people enjoy garlic with cauliflower, so that is a nice addition option as well. If you want to add a little garlic flavor you could use garlic powder or chopped fresh garlic cloves.
How to Make this EASY Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower Side Dish
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine the cauliflower florets with the olive oil and toss with olive oil until all cauliflower pieces are fully coated.
- Add the grated parmesan cheese and optional jalapeño peppers. Stir until fully coated.
- Spread the cauliflower out in a single layer on a parchment paper or foil-lined baking sheet. (a greased sheet pan will also work)
- Bake for 20 minutes. Stir the cauliflower and bake for an additional 10 until the parmesan cauliflower has crispy edges and is golden brown on top.
- Squeeze lime juice over roasted cauliflower and serve!

How to Make Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower in the Air Fryer
You can make this same Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower recipe in the air fryer. You’ll probably want to use smaller pieces of cauliflower but for the most part, make this recipe the same way. Arrange the cauliflower pieces in a single layer of your air fryer basket (you might have to do a few batches – be careful not to do too much cauliflower at once) Preheat your air fryer to 400F and cook for 10 minutes.
