Homemade Gift Idea: Snowman Parts Snack + FREE Printable
Update: I can’t believe it’s been several years since I first shared this fun treat. I created it during the FROZEN movie excitement and since that I have heard from so many of you all of the different ways that you have used this little treat mix: birthday parties, craft and bake sales, classroom parties and more. It’s one of my most popular posts and that makes me so happy! Cheers to fun projects like this and I hope you continue to enjoy this fun snack!.
Being in L.A. for the red carpet premiere of Disney’s hit movie, FROZEN (more details here) inspired me to come up with all kinds of Frozen and snowman themed crafts and recipes.
This one has been a hit, and it’s a fun little project that you can turn into a party favor, gifts for neighbors or just treats for the kids!
Ingredients for Making Snowman Parts Treat Snack Bags
Putting these fun treat bags together is easy, and you can get as creative as you like with the contents.
We used:
Pretzel Sticks
Mini Marshmallows
Candycorn
You could also use chocolate chips, but since those melt so easily, I’m not a huge fan. M&Ms might be a good choice if you really want to get some additional parts in the bag.
I always stock up on candy corn when it goes on sale after the fall holidays. Pro tip: I’ve seen Walgreens clearance them to 10¢ a bag!
You’ll also need clear baggies of some sort.
How to Make Snowman Parts Treat Snack Bags
For starters, you’ll need to go here to print out the FREE Snowman Parts printable that you can cut out and use as packaging. (I prefer to print mine on white cardstock, but plain paper works too!)
Next you’ll want to fill your baggies with goodies. You can use the ones I mentioned above, or get creative!
Cut out the Snowman Parts printable squares and fold them in the middle.
Staple them over your bag of parts, and you have a fun and very affordable wintery treat to share!
