We LOVE Halos mandarins around here. When the folks at Halos asked me to incorporate Halos into our Easter celebration, I jumped at the chance. Honestly, we purchase 2 boxes of these a week and my kids know that they are welcome and encouraged to grab them as snacks anytime they like. SO delicious and wonderful any time of day or night. Halos are my go-to snack during the day when I need a pick me up. Most afternoons around 3pm (when my energy starts to crash) I will usually grab a Halo and a handful of almonds. It seems to do the trick for me and it’s also a snack that I love.

My kids go through these things like candy. I pack them in their lunch at least 3 times a week and they are always in the fruit bowl which is available to my kids at all times. Why do we love Halos?

Wonderful Halos are sweet, with no added sugar, free of common allergens (e.g., gluten, peanuts, dyes), require no advance preparation, and are a good value. With about 28 Wonderful Halos in every 5lb. box, there’s enough snacks for an entire classroom or sports team, and each piece of fruit is already individually wrapped. So, if you think about it, they are also the perfect substitution to the insane amounts of candy that we end up with around the holidays. I love the idea of incorporating these into our Easter traditions, not to mention the fact that they look darling in Easter baskets!

I actually think Halos make a great gift for so many occasions and they are so bright and colorful that they are bound to brighten anyone’s day. We decided that we are going to send some to school this year for teachers during teacher appreciation week. I mean, who doesn’t love delicious fruit and it will make a wonderful snack in the teacher break room.
