On top of all of the Disneyland excitement, last week they released a new offer for Walt Disney World Resort! Right now you can can save up to 25% on select Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for travel July 11 – September 29, 2021!
Additionally, Walt Disney World Resort just announced Disney After Hours BOO BASH, an all-new Halloween party, will take place at Magic Kingdom on select nights August 10 – October 31, 2021! As of right now, out of state visitors are able to purchase tickets and hotel stays and can start visiting the park on June 15th!!
We expect an announcement from Disney any day with an update to when out-of-state visitors will be allowed.

You may also be aware that Disneyland also announced a new way to book tickets on their site that allows guests to book theme park reservations at the same time they purchase their tickets.
This system is only available through Disney directly, and seems to be most valuable for those guests who are purchasing 1-day tickets, which Get Away Today does NOT sell. Guests purchasing multi-day tickets through us will receive their tickets within minutes of booking, and then receive a link where they can begin making theme park reservations. It’s fast and easy!
Another thing to note with Disneyland’s new ticket system is that it does not allow guests to purchase tickets outside of the dates that are already open for theme park reservations. That means that as of today, guests cannot buy tickets for travel after July 18, 2021 if they buy directly with Disney.
However Get Away Today guests (including those who live out of state) CAN buy their tickets for future travel with us, and they’ll have their ticket numbers ready to go the day they can begin making theme park reservations for their desired dates.
If you do purchase, Get Away Today tickets are valid for travel through 2022, so Get Away Today recommends booking tickets NOW so that you will already have your ticket numbers in hand as soon as reservations are available. (we expect an update on out of state numbers at any time now!)

As you know, Disneyland is requiring theme park reservations and that means we start to see sold out days in May and June. However, the good news is that there is still a lot of mid-week availability, especially for Disney California Adventure Park. If you purchase a Park Hopper ticket, you can visit Disneyland beginning at 1pm. It’s a great option for those who may not realize that they can still visit Disneyland – and with such low capacity, it’s sure to be a magical experience.
