My grandparents always made it with the booze, so this was a drink just for the adults, but my kids love eggnog – so we actually make this more often without the whiskey than we do with it.

Boozy Eggnog Recipe Ingredients

Ingredients for Boozy Eggnog Milkshakes

 
4 cups vanilla ice cream
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon 
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract 
1 1/2 cups eggnog 
1/2 cup bourbon (or more if you like it strong) *optional 
Whipped cream, for garnish (Any brand of whip cream will do)
Grated or ground nutmeg, for garnish

How to Make a Boozy Eggnog Milkshake 

1. Add the ice cream, spices, vanilla, eggnog and bourbon to a blender. Blend for 30 seconds or until thickened and creamy.
