It’s football season and around here, that means time to snack! If you want to spice up your next tailgate party (pun intended!) then check out with really easy and oh-so delicious Spicy Spinach Dip recipe. I take the easy route and do this all in the microwave. It is super easy to whip up and makes plenty to keep your hungry football fans happy!

IngredientsSpinach Dip Recipe

1 Pkg. Frozen Chopped Spinach, about 12 oz.
1⁄2 Block Velveeta, 16 oz.
1 Pkg. Cream Cheese, 8 oz.
2 Cans Diced Tomatoes and Chilies, drained (use whichever heat level you are comfortable with)
1⁄2 Cup Sour CreamSpinach Dip Process

Instructions

In a large microwaveable bowl cook the spinach on high 3-4 minutes. Squeeze the Spinach and drain the excess liquid.

Cut the Velveeta and Cream Cheese into 1⁄2 inch cubes and add to the spinach in the bowl.

Microwave on high 2 1⁄2 minutes. Stir well.

Add the drained Tomatoes and Chilies, stir to combine.

Microwave 2 minutes. Stir well.

Microwave another 2 minutes. Add the Sour Cream and stir well.

Serve with an assortment of chips and crackers.Spinach Dip
