This Easy Key Lime Pie Recipe is a total snap to make and it's so good! Just a few basic ingredients mixed together, chill for an hour, and dig in!

I love a delicious dessert, even more so when I can have it ready in minutes.  This Easy Key Lime Pie recipe is so quick to make and amazingly good!  Mix up a few basic ingredients, pour them into a prepared pie crust, and chill for an hour.  I love this one to go along with a light dinner, a summer cookout or for something sweet on St. Patrick’s Day when you need a little green.

I usually make two of these easy key lime pies at once, one to keep at home, and one to share with a neighbor, friend or to bring to an event. They never last long and they are so refreshing and delicious!

  • Put the softened cream cheese in a bowl and mix with your hand mixer until creamy.  Add the sweetened condensed milk and mix until combined.
  • Add the lime juice and the food coloring.  Mix until combined.
  • Pour into the pie tin.  Refrigerate until set, about an hour.
  • Garnish with lime zest and lime slices if you’d like.  Yummy with some whipped cream on top, too!

Like I said above, we LOVE Nellie & Joe’s Key West Lime Juice – it’s so yummy, I always keep it on hand. I also love that you can order it from Amazon at a pretty competitive price!

If you are short on time, you can use these pre-made Honey Maid Grahams Pie Crusts OR Graham Cracker Pieyou can make your own using these Nabisco Honey Maid Graham Cracker Crumbs to make your pie in your own pie dish.

Pie PlatesAmazon has a huge selection of pie plates. I actually love giving baked goods as gifts and allowing the recipient the keep the dish that the gift was baked in!

  1. What size can of the condensed milk did you use?

  2. You can use the same recipe, but sub 3 tbsp of lemon juice for the lime and ads a tsp of vanilla to make an easy cheesecake. It pairs well with strawberry and raspberry topping.

  3. i can’t wait to make this!! I love lime (and lemon) anything!!
I make a (cheater) 4 ingredient lime pie all summer. It was in the school fundraiser cookbook.
    Essentially it is this one:
I use the “creamy” cool whip and the “extra 2 slices” ready made graham cracker crust.
I have also made with lemonade and topped with fresh raspberries.
And used both in phyllo tarts.

  4. Can this be made ahead of time and frozen?
