Easy Papaya Ginger Smoothie

I’ve been on a smoothie kick lately so I’m sharing my new favorite, this EASY Papaya Ginger Smoothie.

Easy Papaya Ginger Smoothie

Smoothies are such a quick and easy breakfast option for me and trying different recipes has kept me from getting bored with the same drinks over and over.

Easy Papaya Ginger Smoothie

I recently shared my Blueberry Beet Smoothie recipe, and if you are a fan of green juice, you’ll want to check out my recipe for Easy Green Juice.

I try to keep the ingredients for all of these recipes on hand for those mornings when I’m going to be rushing around trying to get out the door.

Breakfast is such an important start to the day and I find that if I can at least grab a breakfast drink, then I’m really helping to give my body the nutritional boost it needs to head into my day with gusto.

What you’ll need to make this Easy Papaya Ginger Smoothie

*Makes about 12 Ounces

  • 1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger
  • 1 Cup Peeled and Frozen Papaya
  • ½ Cup Milk or Almond Milk
  • 3 Ounces Peach Yogurt (plain or vanilla yogurt works as well)

Directions for making a Papaya Ginger Smoothie

Combine all ingredients in a blender (I use a Ninja blender and LOVE it) starting with the milk on bottom, end with the yogurt on top.

Once you start to blend, you may need to open the top and scrape down the sides.

Be sure it’s well blended because that ginger can be strong if not blended well.

Serve in a glass immediately and enjoy.

Obviously, you can increase the recipe size based on how many people you are serving but I love these single serving recipes because then I’m not leaving a bunch of waste and I’m getting just want I need to consume at that time.

This sweet and simple pear smoothie recipe is another of my favorites along with this chocolate raspberry smoothie recipe (which is only 5 weight watcher points!)
