So many times I have found myself having everything for a meal except for the bread, ack! And then I’d find myself scrambling for ingredients as I used to think you needed yeast (which I never have on hand) to make bread.
Can you make bread without yeast?
YES!! I turns out you CAN make bread without yeast. If you have a beer. Because guess what, beer has yeast.
We usually have beer in the fridge, but at times when we haven’t, I’ve actually called a neighbor to borrow a beer, which caused a few chuckles for sure! And because I make this bread so often, we always joke about that lone beer in the fridge that needs to be saved for my quick beer bread recipe.

Loaves of bread also make wonderful and welcome gifts, so this is a great recipe for gifting as well! I’m a huge fan of giving bread bowls, platters or cutting boards as gifts, and this is a fun way to do that.
*If gifting a loaf of bread and the seasoning mix: add 2-4 tablespoons of mix into a clear plastic bag and write the needed ingredients to make the dip, on the tag.
