I am planning on using them as place settings on each plate for Christmas Eve dinner with a handwritten name card attached.
This is another fun and simple craft for just your or include the little ones in on the merriment. Load up on the candy and let’s get started putting it together!
Supplies Needed to make a Candy Santa Sleigh
1 Hershey Kit Kat Bar
2 candy canes
1 chocolate Santa
3-6 miniature candy bars
scrap paper
string or ribbon
hot glue or quick drying craft glue
How to assemble your Santa Candy Sleigh
Cut scrap paper to 5” x 7”, I used a piece of wood patterned paper.
Wrap paper around kit kat, secure with glue.
Spread glue down halfway down candy canes, glue to bottom of Kit Kat as shown.
Pile up miniature candy bars as “packages” on the back of sleigh, glue down, then add a ribbon to hold them on and add a little decoration to your creation.
Attach Santa securely to front with glue.
Run ribbon or twine from sleigh handles to Santa’s “hands” so he can drive his sleigh!
Isn’t he just the cutest?
Not only is he fun to make (and would be great party or classroom activity) but this Santa Sleigh make of candy also makes a great package topper and sells really well at Christmas bazaars, craft shows and is a great bake sale item idea!
