Santa Cinnamon Rolls

Aren’t these the cutest?? And guess what? SO easy! You can make these Santa Cinnamon Rolls with store bought cinnamon rolls or even better, you can use my Grammy’s Cinnamon Roll recipe which is honestly, the best cinnamon roll recipe ever. Regardless of whatever route you go with the cinnamon rolls, these fun santa faces are darling, and so simple. You might even consider including this as part of a fun activity for the kids and let them make their own cinnamon roll santas.

Santa Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients

Cinnamon rolls (with or without icing)
Red sprinkling sugar
Milk chocolate morsels (2 for each Santa)
Miniature marshmallows (about 16 for each Santa)
Red candy (I used M&Ms, 1 for each Santa)

Instructions

  1. Bake cinnamon rolls (homemade or store bought / canned)  Cool slightly before adding icing to the top.
  2. While icing is still warm, press marshmallows into place to create a line for the brim of Santa’s hat and a double line for his beard. Sprinkle the hat area with red sprinkling sugar. Press one marshmallow toward the top of the cinnamon roll as the pom on the end of Santa’s hat.
  3. Attach two chocolate morsels as Santa’s eyes and a red candy as Santa’s nose.
  4. Allow to set and then serve.

These Santa Cinnamon Rolls are such a fun way to celebrate at Christmas time! Easy to make and you can decorate just about any cinnamon roll this way so either use my Grandmother's amazing cinnamon roll recipe or use store bought or boxed cinnamon roll mixes. Either way, these fun holiday themed Christmas cinnamon rolls will be a real treat for your celebrations and family gatherings!

You could also make decorating these cute Santa rolls part of your classroom or Christmas party activities. Kids will love placing marshmallows on their cinnamon rolls and they will really enjoy eating them!
