I am always on the lookout for non-candy Valentine’s Day ideas to share with you guys, so when my friends at Welch’s Fruit Snacks reached out and challenged me and my crafty little 9 year old daughter to this Welch’s Fruit Snack Valentine challenge, we gladly accepted!
By using their NEW Valentine’s Day-themed fruit snacks and a few simple craft supplies, we put together a fun homemade Valentine card to share with neighbors and friends. I enjoyed the time spent with my daughter creating these, and I know she is really going to enjoy delivering them!
Welch’s® Fruit Snacks are America’s favorite fruit snack brand. The Welch’s® Fruit Snacks Valentine’s Day themed box and pouch have custom Valentine’s-themed graphics with heart-shaped pieces with fun emojis. The snacks are perfect for Valentine’s Day parties, as each pouch features a “To/From” sign-able front panel. Moms and Dads love that every pack is made with REAL Fruit, is Fat-Free, Gluten-Free, and contains No Preservatives. Welch’s® Fruit Snacks feature fruit as the first ingredient, so they taste delicious! (28-Count Box with 0.5oz. Pouches / $4.99)
Here’s a peek at the supplies that we were armed with, along with a box of Welch’s Fruit Snacks (28 count!).
And here is a look at a few of our finished Valentine’s Day cards. We used the glue to glue “pockets” out of the heart doilies and the stuck the packets of Welch’s Fruit Snacks right down in the pockets. They turned out darling!
Finished off with some glitter glue (you can never have too much glitter!) and a few stickers and I think they turned out fantastic, don’t you?
One thing that I really do love about giving these fruit snacks as a Valentine’s Day treat is that they are a better than candy option as they are made with REAL Fruit, are fat-free, gluten-free, and contain no preservatives. I also love that they are heart shaped, it makes them even more fun to give, and I loved sending my kids with a little “love” in their lunches this week!
We all know that kids get plenty of candy for Valentine’s Day, so this is a fun option that they still get excited about!
