TOMORROWLAND Exclusive Movie Sneak Peek, Props and Photos!
Last week, as part of my time in LA to cover the TOMORROWLAND press junket, I got the chance to spend the day at Disneyland. Of course, part of that included spending some time in Tomorrowland, where they just so happen to be featuring some pretty cool promotional items and events in celebration of the movie TOMORROWLAND, which hits theaters on May 22, 2015!
If you will be at Disneyland anytime soon, then make sure to check out the awesome TOMORROWLAND Exclusive Movie Sneak Peek in the Captain EO Theater! Along with an awesome movie sneak peek, they also have a wonderful room full of TOMORROWLAND movie props and photos set up so that visitors can see all of this awesome memorabilia first hand! Here are a few of my favorites:
Have you heard about the 1952 box?
I think that my VERY favorite item that they have on display is the 1952 box which has long been a subject of mystery and was definitely an inspiration for TOMORROWLAND and Disney’s celebration of futuristic visions and adventures:
I loved seeing so many of these props first hand, and realizing how much work goes into making these films so believable. I especially loved seeing the detailed props, like character Casey’s school books and notebook. It was really neat to see them close up and see how much thought went into what they would say and look like. Seeing this display really makes you realize all of the planning and thought that goes into making a movie, right down to the littlest of details.
Want an ever better look at the minds behind this film?
I’ll be sharing my interview with Brad Bird and Damon Lindelof soon, but this video will give you a wonderful peek at their thoughts and excitement over the making of this movie, and they will also clue you in to a few secrets about the movie:

So many amazing things to see in the Tomorrowland exhibit! I loved seeing all the props after watching the movie. I kinda want to own one of those jetpacks, haha!
