Product Review: Brightech Vintage Outdoor Solar String Lights

I’ve been wanting outdoor lighting in our backyard for so long! In fact, I’ve twice before purchased lights and twice had to throw in the towel on thinking that it would work. First of all, we don’t have power in the back of our yard and second of all, both strings of lights that I had previously purchased were not solar string lights and were too challenging and complicated for my light hanging skills.

So. I jumped at the chance to check out these Ambience Pro Solar 2W String Lights from Brightech and I’m so glad I did!

I ordered 3 sets of solar string lights and they arrived quickly. Literally within less than 1/2 an hour, my 13 year old son and I had the lights hung. SO easy, right out of the box and straight into our trees, I was already impressed. The quality seems fantastic. They seem durable and were packaged very well.

I think that my favorite thing about these lights is that they run on solar power so you don’t need any electricity. Each strand comes with it’s own solar box that you adjust to absorb sunlight during the day and then once the sun sets, they magically turn on. As you can see below, each strand of lights comes with it’s own solar box that easily either stakes in the ground (with included stakes) or clamps onto a branch, which is what we did here:

The first night we hung them I was very afraid that they were not working because I couldn’t see any signs of light but as soon as it got dark my 11 year old ran in the house to grab us all to come out and “see the beautiful lights!!” Honestly, SO beautiful and I love looking out from the house and seeing our little fire pit area all lit up.
