Lands’ End | Back to School Night in NYC

While I was in NYC last week for BlogHer ’12, I was able to attend many neat events that were sponsored by some of my favorite companies. I am going to be sharing these with you as I find the time to gather all of my info and photos together.

One of my favorite events was Back to School Night with Land’s End. They began this adventure by picking us up at our hotel in school buses, which was a fun (and very hot!) way to remember those old school days of riding the bus.

Once we arrived at the Lands’ End Academy, we were asked to complete out report card, by attending different stations and activities that they have planned out for us.

<—–This included everything from putting together a back to school outfit (see my creation here, and you can even “like” it which gives me a chance at winning a prize!)

We also got to sample some gourmet food prepared for us by celebrity chef, Sam Talbot. Delicious…for real. —->

We had hair and makeup provided for us (fun!) and we also had the opportunity to sample dresses from their new line. Attendees that received all “A’s” on their report card also received a darling Lands’ End backpack, so after getting top marks in all of my classes (yes, thank you very much!) I picked out a backpack that my son is going to love!
