Another great idea for creating meaningful fall decor is to re-purpose vintage family items in your decorating. We have used some old barn wood from my husband’s family ranch in our decor, and I have several of my grandmother’s pieces that I rotate through my season decorating. And of course, if you are creative and crafty, you can always do a little do-it-yourself work to create some of these looks and pieces.
This second mantle is a bit less “fall” looking, but still has a warm feel to it that could probably last longer through the autumn months and bring you right up to Thanksgiving. I love the country and cozy feel. The best part about mantel decor (or any decor!) is that you can change it up based on your own finds and treasures and use other people’s ideas and looks to inspire your own. Here are a few items that you can find on Amazon to create the fall mantle decor look shown above:
Rustic Wood Decorative Mirror
Vintage Grain Decorative Wreath
Task Lamp
Garwarm Faux Planted Flowers
Creative Co-Op Wooden Mantle Clock
Be Grateful Distressed Sign
A&B Home Glass Candle Holder
Gideon 5″ LED Candle
Burlap Ribbon
What are your favorite fall looks? I think that the key is to keep it simple and comfy and to create a look that brings out your favorite looks of the season and makes your heart smile. Here are few more fun decor items:
