What are your favorite peanut butter recipes? My teenage son loves anything with peanut butter in it – and it’s a nice source of protein to boot – so this Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie recipe is one that he requests often.
So often, that I usually double the recipe – and then freeze half of these chocolate peanut butter cookies in ziplock bags or airtight containers. This makes for a quick and easy snack on a moments notice and usually my kids will eat them before they are even thawed!
Bonus dessert to make with these Chocolate PB cookies? Spread vanilla ice cream between two cookies and then wrap them in cling wrap and put them back in the freezer for a yummy homemade frozen ice cream sandwich cookie, another favorite cookie dessert recipe around here. Truth be told, I do this with a lot of my cookie recipes, we love frozen cookies and even more so when they are stuffed with vanilla ice cream!
