1 C. butter, softened to room temperature
2 eggs

2/3 C. unsweetened cocoa powder
½ tsp. salt
¾ tsp. baking soda
2 C. flour
1 container of Wilton Valentine sprinkles
1 package of Dove Valentine hearts

#2. In a medium bowl, combine the butter, eggs, sugar and vanilla mixing well. Set aside.
#3. In a separate bowl, combine the cocoa powder, salt, baking soda and flour.
#4. Fold the dry ingredients into the wet ingredient a little bit at a time mix well. Place the dough in the fridge to chill for 15-20 minutes.
#5. Pour the Wilton Valentine sprinkles out onto a small plate or bowl.
#6. Remove the dough from the fridge and use a small tablespoon or cookie scoop to scoop the dough into the small balls. Roll the dough between your hand to round it out. Roll each ball in the Valentine sprinkles and place 2-3” a part on each cookie sheet.
#7. Bake 8-10 minutes. While the cookies are baking unwrap the Dove chocolates and discard the wrappers. Upon removing the cookies from the oven, immediately place one Dove heart in the center of each cookie.
