Boise Friends: There’s a New Albertsons in Town! (+ Grand Opening!)

All of Boise is buzzing about this NEW Albertsons store on Broadway so we were thrilled to have the chance to check it out at a private grand opening last night and YOU can check it out this weekend as they are hosting an Albertsons grand opening ALL day on Saturday and I highly recommend that if you are local you make the time to go. This new store is jaw dropping AMAZING and unlike anything I have ever seen before!

This Albertsons store on Broadway isn’t just a store… it’s an experience!! The word innovative kept coming to mind as we wandered throughout the departments. This store is SO ahead of it’s time and a total game changer for shoppers. EVERYTHING in one place: floral, bakery, dining, home decor and gifts and so many wonderful food options including a very large assortment of Idaho made and grown products!

In 1939, Joe Albertson created one of the first modern grocery stores in the country, right here in our own backyard: Albertsons on the corner of 16th and State. Today, his legacy continues with the opening of Albertsons on Broadway, our new flagship store—leading the next generation of Albertsons across the nation.

This event promises to be fantastic, and I can tell you from our visit last night … they have went above and beyond with this store and they are so excited to share it with the public. Here’s a peek at some of the food and fun we experienced last night:

First of all, we were greeted by so many friendly faces! Colton here works in the floral department and my daughter was over the moon about these fun floral rings! I was so impressed with the huge amount of employee pride in this store. They were all so excited to share with us how amazing this store is!
