Easier Than Pie Peach Cobbler Recipe
Everyone needs a great quick and easy peach cobbler recipe and today I’m sharing mine with you!
Peach Cobbler Recipe
This is hands down one of our favorite dessert recipes, and it’s a really quick and easy “go to” recipe when you are in a pinch. It’s a delicious and totally affordable (almost cheap!) recipe that I have been making for years! This photo doesn’t do it justice (so sorry about that!) but trust me, it might not be the prettiest dish, but it’s one of the best tasting!
It takes very few ingredients, most of which you might have on hand.
Ingredients for this Peach Cobbler Recipe
Flour
Sugar (1 cup sugar for dry mix and 1/2 cup of sugar for peach mix)
Baking powder
Butter (melted)
Milk
Lemon juice
Vanilla
Fresh peach slices, however, I have used both frozen and canned peaches and it still turns out great. If you do use canned peaches, it will take 2 cans, and I suggest only draining one of the cans. This recipe also works great with blueberries!
To make the dish shown above, I used peaches that we canned this summer, and they were wonderful. You might also adjust your sugar amounts to the sweetness of your peaches. I have made this dish with as little as 1/2 cup of sugar in the dry mix, and 1/2 cup sugar in the peach mix.
How to make Peach Cobbler Recipe
Start by pouring your melted butter into the bottom of a 13×9 baking dish. Mix your dry ingredients (1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon baking powder). Add in 1 cup of milk and stir all together (won’t be smooth but get major lumps out). Pour this mixture over the melted butter in your baking dish, do NOT stir.
Next, bring 1/2 cup of sugar, peaches (sliced), 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1 tablespoon vanilla extract to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour directly over batter. Again, do NOT stir.
Bake your dish at 375 until golden brown on top (about 35-40 minutes). This dish is definitely best served warm, and we like to top it off with homemade ice cream, yum!

I’ve made this recipe for years with all kinds of fruit – love it! Fast, easy & delicious. Just a note – if you’re out of baking powder or plain flour, you can use self-rising – it works well.
Oh, great tip – thank you!!
