Patriotic Dessert Recipes
Patriotic Mini Cheesecakes from Kleinworth and Co.
Strawberry Jello Flag Cake from Adventures of Mel
4th of July Red Velvet Brownie Firecrackers from Tuxedo Cats and Coffee
What are YOUR favorite patriotic recipes? I love finding easy to make recipes that celebrate the colors and excitement of these holidays but I also love to find easy recipes that are do-able and don’t have me stressing out when I really just want to spend time with family and friends!
Many of these recipes are so easy that tweens and teens could easily help you to prepare them, which can be super helpful. I actually enjoy the process of preparing for a holiday celebration just about as much as I enjoy the celebration itself. Getting my kids excited about helping by letting them each pick a patriotic dessert recipe to create beforehand has also been a great way to get everyone on board for helping with our 4th of July family gathering celebrations.
Another thing that I love about many of these recipes is that they are affordable and made with just a few ingredients. This can be especially helpful if you are serving a large holiday crowd. You can double (or triple!) the recipes to make them stretch out to feed big groups of people without breaking the bank.
Many of these patriotic dessert recipes can be made in larger quantities ahead of time and will be a hit at your red, white and blue celebration!
