No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars
Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars
I try to keep the ingredients on hand so that we can make these no-bakes on a moments notice. This is a great recipe for those last minute desserts but it is also a great recipe for parties and bake sales!
Ingredients for No Bake Peanut Butter Bars
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups oatmeal (quick cooking is fine)
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
Directions for these Easy No Bake Cookie Bars
- Melt butter, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan stirring frequently. Mix in oats.
- Press half of the mixture into a greased 9×9 pan and set aside.
- Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter on low stirring constantly until smooth and combined. Pour over crust in pan and spread evenly over crust.
- Top with remaining oat mixture (I used my fingers) and gently press into the chocolate layer.
- Refrigerate at least four hours or overnight.
- Let set at room temperature for about 10 minutes before cutting into bars and serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy!

These look awesome! My kids would love these, which kinda stinks because that means I would have to share 🙂
Yes the sharing part means less for mom BUT that doesn’t mean that you can’t stash a few away in hiding. *not that I do that, or anything 🙂 Thanks for the comment Kathleen!
