Have you heard of MilkSplash? MilkSplash is the innovative new zero-calorie milk flavoring for busy parents who want their kids to drink more milk and make healthier beverage choices. It’s portable, fun and easy to use, and makes drinking milk awesome because it lets kids enjoy milk on their own terms. MilkSplash comes in a variety of great-tasting flavors, colors and collectible characters such as Cocoa Loco, Sir Strawberry Swirl™, Orange Cream Dream, Cookies ‘N Cream and Jammin’ Banana – with more to come.
I love reviewing new products like MilkSplash because these are the products that you will end up seeing in the stores (and your kids will end up begging you for) and I feel like these types of reviews might just give you a heads up and a little bit of education to help you make “in-store” decisions about new products.
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect about MilkSplash when I agreed to the review, but upon doing a little research, and then actually receiving the product (and seeing the smiles on my kiddos faces) I am really excited to share this product with you. But like most of you, I had a lot of questions, my first question was: Who makes MilkSplash? MilkSplash was created and is marketed by S&D Beverage Innovations, LLC, a division of S&D Coffee, Inc., the nation’s largest custom coffee roaster and blender of iced tea for the foodservice industry. Founded in 1927 and based in Concord, N.C., near Charlotte, S&D holds the highest certified designations in global quality and food safety, and counts a multitude of the world’s best-known foodservice organizations as its customers. A team of talented and experienced food scientists and marketers drives new product development for S&D Beverage Innovations.
My next two questions … how much sugar is in MilkSplash? There is a very small amount of sugar used in MilkSplash. It is so low it does not contribute to the caloric value, qualifying MilkSplash as a zero-calorie product.
Does MilkSplash contain gluten or other allergens? No. MilkSplash is gluten-free and allergen-free.
My thoughts? I knew my kids would love this and what I love is that not only is it fun and mess free, but these little bottles are so easy to store and use and little hands have no trouble getting just one squirt out as the dispenser is really controlled, which I love. One squirt and I had two very happy kids and two very empty milk glasses:
