Macy’s Surprise Holiday Shopping (and Macy’s Coupon Codes!)

Macy’s has always been part of our holiday shopping tradition. Not only are Macy’s coupon codes amazing, they have a huge selection and I love their store during the holidays!

They literally have something for everyone on your list but I think my personal favorite is their Holiday Lane section.

We visited the store yesterday and it just puts me in the Christmas spirit to see all of the lovely Christmas decorations and the sale prices were pretty exciting too! You know I love putting together the perfect gift ideas for everyone on my list, so I always enjoy stores during the holiday season.

Thanks to sale prices, Macy’s coupon codes and storewide discounts they were offering yesterday, my daughter and I were able to grab a few ornaments that were regularly priced at $14, for just $3.50 each!!

To make our Macy’s shopping trip even more exciting, we recently accepted a mission from our friends at Saving.com to surprise a lucky Macy’s shopper by paying for their purchases.

We walked around the store for about half an hour waiting for the right people to select. I told my daughter that I thought we would know when the time was right, and it turns out, it works out perfectly.

This woman was shopping with her daughter to select a Christmas dress and we surprised them by jumping in and paying for it. They were so surprised! Even the cashier was smiling, it was such a fun moment and I love that we selected a mother and daughter, as I had my daughter with me and it was such a fun experience.

We also asked the daughter to pick out something for her mother and it was so fun to spread a little Christmas joy by getting her something that was on her list.

We left the mall feeling so happy and realizing that the true gift of the season really is in the giving. My daughter said that was the funnest thing she’d ever done so we are hoping to do it again soon. Random acts of kindness truly are the best therapy!!
