We LOVE Halos mandarins around here. When the folks at Halos asked me to incorporate Halos into our Easter decor, I was all in. What a great idea!
My kids go through these things like candy. I pack them in their lunch at least 3 times a week and they are always in the fruit bowl which is available to my kids at all times. Why do we love Halos?
Wonderful Halos mandarins are:
- A sweet, seedless and easy to peel snack that’s a healthy alternative to fatty foods
- About 50 calories delivering 45 percent of the recommended daily value of vitamin C
In season November through April, Halos are the perfect snack! They are great to share at kid’s activities and sporting events, and make a healthy snack choice any time of the day. Not only are they the perfect (healthy) snack to include in your Easter baskets or decorate your Easter table, but they also make for a great addition to family friendly recipes that are great for Easter entertaining!
I think I really started something with the Halos scattered around the house in the Easter decor! My kids come home each day now hunting for new Halos and they have even started moving them and finding new hiding spots. So fun, I have a feeling that the Easter Bunny will be hiding some Halos this year!! Isn’t that bright orange color so lovely?
