Candy Materials You Will Need to Make Disney FROZEN Cupcake Toppers
How to Make Blue Candy Snowflakes out of Jolly Ranchers for FROZEN Cupcakes
Homemade Cupcakes from Scratch Ingredients
1/2 C. butter, melted
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 C. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 C. milk
How to Make Homemade Cupcakes from Scratch
Combine the granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder and milk.
Scoop the cupcake batter into the muffin tins filling each about 3/4 full.
Bake 20-25 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let warm cupcakes cool.
Attach the frosting tip to the disposable piping bag and fill with frosting. (I prefer a large decorating tip)
Gently squeeze the frosting out of the bag and onto each cupcake in a circular motion.
Top with a blue candy star. *I recommend using a dot of frosting on the back of the snowflake candies for extra support
Repeat with each cupcake.
*Makes approximately 12 cupcakes
Store in an airtight container until you are ready to serve!

Tips for Making Frozen Cupcakes for a Disney Themed Birthday Party
You could make your cupcakes ahead of time and freeze cupcakes to they are easy to frost. You could also use these Disney FROZEN cupcakes as
a party activity! Freeze the cupcakes and make the candy ice (melted Jolly Rancher toppings) ahead of time and then let the kids decorate them! They’ll have a ball creating their own Queen Elsa Cupcakes!
We used white icing but as I mentioned above, you could use a little blue food coloring to also make some blue icing. Add additional toppings like snowflake sprinkles, tiny white candy toppings, tiny white chocolate chips and other fun sprinkles on top of each cupcake.
As mentioned above, you can use our from scratch cupcake recipe or use a boxed white cake mix, in the end you’ll have fun Disney themed FROZEN frosted cupcakes that everyone will love!
And best of all, these easy FROZEN cupcakes will also serve as party decor!

Snowflake Candy Cupcakes
Aren't these blue candy cupcakes so wonderful? Perfect for a FROZEN movie themed birthday party, they would also be great for any winter celebration or snow themed party or event. Easy to make, the candy blue snowflakes are made from Jolly Ranchers and are really simple!
Ingredients
Candy Materials:
- silicone snowflake mold
- blue Jolly Ranchers
- baking sheet
Cupcake Ingredients:
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- 1/2 C. butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 C. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 C. milk
- white frosting
- disposable piping bag
- large star frosting tip
- cupcake liners
Instructions
Candy Directions:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
Open the blue Jolly Ranchers and discard the wrappers.
Place 2 wrappers in each silicone snowflake mold.
Place the silicone mold on the baking sheet and bake in the oven for 10-15 or until the Jolly Ranchers are completely melted.
Remove from the oven and let cool.
Once the candies have cooled and hardened, gently pop them out of the silicone mold.
Cupcake Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line a 12 count muffin tin with cupcake liners.
Combine the granulated sugar, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, flour, baking powder and milk.
