bSolo: Helping Self-employed Individuals Help Themselves!

*Disclosure: This is a sponsored post done in partnership with bSolo. These are 100% my own opinions.

I didn’t always plan on being self-employed. I went right into the work force after college, but always had a side hustle. After a big layoff at a company where I was working as the Art Director, I made the bold move to take that opportunity to follow my dream of being self-employed. That was over 15 years ago, and I’ve been doing my own thing ever since!

That being said, it wasn’t always easy. In the earlier years of my solo business ventures, I stumbled through several aspects of navigating exactly what being self-employed meant. Figuring out budgets, financial decisions, work schedules … it was all so overwhelming. I often felt like I was running a million different directions, trying to do so many things at once. I found a lot of strength in an online community, but the biggest issue was that while we supported each other, we were all quite new to the online space and were weeding through it together. That was helpful, but man I could have used the help of someone who had already navigated the rough waters.

Just getting started in business or looking to find support as you grow? You are in luck!

I LOVE being self-employed. While it hasn’t always been a bed of roses, it definitely has its rewards and I’m so thankful for all of the help and encouragement that I’ve had along the way.

Going out on your own can be scary, but with the help of bSolo, that process can be done with the confidence while receiving the same support and convenience as people in traditional 9-to-5 jobs. So I say GO FOR IT … YOU GOT THIS!
