LamaTama Fortune Teller Toy Review
If you follow TikTok, you’ve probably seen a lot of LamaTama Fortune Teller toys in your feed. This toy is so popular, it sold out immediately on the TikTok Shop!
While these toys have been hard to find, they will be dropping in Target stores any day now … have you seen them yet? You are probably wondering what exactly is a LamaTama and what is the obsession? I was able to score one and I am excited to share our review with you.
What is the LamaTama Electronic Fortune Teller Toy?
The LamaTama is an electronic interactive toy designed to answer your yes or no questions by moving it’s head up and down or from side-to-side. Each one has a unique look reflecting its personality. Think “Magic 8 ball” … it’s a fun fortune telling little robot that is retailing around $15. These pocket-sized characters answer yes-or-no questions by nodding for “yes” or shaking for “no,” adding playful, mystical fun to daily decision-making.
Each one comes in a blind box, and half the fun is opening the package to see which one of 24 characters is inside. There are many more characters planned for the future, making this a hot toy for collectors and the holiday season.
Our LamaTama Fortune Teller Toy Review
I love this toy! It’s so much fun answering simple questions like, “Should I get Dominos Pizza for dinner”. Or “will the Dallas Cowboys make it to the play-offs this year?” It’s so entertaining and it’s the right size for slipping into a purse or for teens to hang on their backpacks.
This toy gets a big yes and thumbs up from us, and is appropriate for a very wide range of ages.
How LamaTama Works
Not only is LamaTama small and compact, it’s so easy to play with! All you have to do to get a prediction is to press the button on LamaTama’s back. You can ask a yes/no question. The figure responds with a “strong yes,” “soft yes,” “soft no,” or “strong no”.
Collect LamaTama
There are multiple characters to collect across Series 1 and Series 2. Each figure features a unique, modern art design and a distinct name (like “Gooey”).
Portability: Each figure is roughly 6 cm tall and comes with a bag clip loop or lanyard, making it easy to attach to backpacks or keychains.
For those collections that love to find rares: Series 1 and 2 feature highly sought-after rare (1:100) and ultra-rare (1:1000) chase figures.
