*Disclosure: I did receive a huge box full of Disney goodies to inspire my DisneySide party, but these opinions are my own and were in no way influenced by another person.
Hey there, Hi there, Ho there….
There is just something wonderful and super duper HAPPY about Mickey Mouse and the gang. Over the years, the gang has grown to include princesses, favorite park rides, villains, talking cars and planes, singing animals and whole (whole!) lot more! If you have Disney kids, then you know exactly what I am talking about. We unpacked our DisneySide party box to find an amazing awesome amount of Disney. Here’s what we did with all of it:
First of all, we invited over all of our fellow Disney loving pals.
Second of all, I turned the reins over to my two munchkins who have literally grown up on Disney. They got very busy putting all of the magic together. Little Sissy was in charge of all things princess related, can you tell?
Once our guest arrived, we had SO much fun!
Then we played a good old fashioned game of BINGO! The bingo squares of course were Disney related, and I was just amazed at how every child new what every single bingo square represented! We marked our cards with jellybeans because YUM… and then gave out some really fun Disney prizes to our bingo winners!
We actually had a few party guests who will be headed to Disneyland for spring break, so our next activity was to fill out custom luggage tags! Everyone went home with two brand new Disney Park tags and a whole lot of dreams about upcoming Disney travel!
No party is complete without a pin the something on something and in this case, it was pin the smile on Mickey Mouse! Lots of laughs and giggles with this one as we jammed to Mickey Mouse Club tunes:
I turned snack time into a game and I thought this was brilliant. . .
I gave each of the kiddos one large shortbread cookie along with 2 Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies and asked them to use their Mouseketeer brain to create something …and every single one of them figured it out! You can’t fool these smart Mouseketeers!!
Overall it was a fun and fabulous celebration of all things Disney … and we all agreed that our guests should all come back again REAL SOON!
