Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour: Your Life in Focus

Huge news today for Oprah fans!! Oprah Winfrey just announced her FIRST national national arena tour in five years: Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour: Your Life in Focus. Done in partnership with Weight Watchers Reimagined, Oprah’s Vision Tour will hit nine U.S. cities starting January, 2020. The event will feature well known guests to assist Oprah in motivating audience as she makes 2020 the year of renewal and celebration. 

If you have ever attended an Oprah event, you know how absolutely inspiring she can be. I was lucky enough to cruise with Oprah and Gayle as part of her Oprah Magazine and Holland Cruise Line Oprah Girls’ Getaway trip earlier this year and I can tell you, it was such a neat and empowering experience. 

“What I know for sure is we can all come together to support a stronger, healthier, more abundant life – focused on what makes us feel energized, connected and empowered,” said Oprah Winfrey. “As I travel the country, my hope for this experience is to motivate others to let 2020 be the year of transformation and triumph – beginning first and foremost with what makes us well. This is the year to move forward, let’s make it happen in 2020!”

Through her sharing of personal stories about her own wellness journey, she will guide attendees to develop their own plan of action through conversations, wellness tips and exercises. Motivational testimonials by high-profile guests are sure to provide those deep discussions and moving experiences that she is so well known for. I can personally attest to the fact that I have now seen Oprah speak five different times, and each time I was moved to tears at one point in the conversation. One of my favorite moments with her was my Interview with Oprah for Wrinkle in Time in which she actually gave me some of the best advice I’ve ever received (you can read more about that at the bottom of my Oprah interview here).

I’ve been an Oprah fan for as long as I can remember, and as an O Mag Insider, I have been able to witness up close and personal the power of the positivity that surrounds here. I was able to watch her accept her Disney Legend Award two years ago at D23 and she never disappoints. She just NEVER disappoints and I believe it is because she leads with such passion, compassion and she keeps it real. 

Here’s a peek at at her during the Girls’ Getaway Cruise on Holland’s Nieuw Statendam ship as she led the dedication ceremony as the ship’s Godmother. Ms. Oprah shared inspiring words and insight into why these girlfriend cruises offer such an amazing experience. It was a true honor to be able to be in her presence, and I’m so happy that I can share this with you. Oh those lucky Weight Watcher members and American Express card members!! Exclusive pre-sale access for the Weight Watchers community begins Monday, September 9 at 10am local time. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Tuesday, September 10 at 10am local time through Thursday, September 12 at 10pm local time.

Remaining tickets will go on sale to the general public beginning Friday, September 13 at 10am local time at ticketmaster.com. For more information, visit the Weight Watchers website.
