Nespresso Espresso Maker Review *She Saved Favorite*

With the holidays right around the corner, I have been trying to get my hands on some of the products that I know that many of you have on your “I might be wishing for this” lists. I have been wondering about these little brewers too, so I was thrilled to have the opportunity to check them out.
I reviewed the Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker in Red. This unit currently sells on Amazon for $89.99 and comes in three color choices. Red, White and Black. This item gets great reviews, almost 5 stars on Amazon out of over 70 reviews, so I was pretty excited to check it out!
First of all … I LOVE how petite this thing is! I had expected it to be much bigger, so I was concerned about counter space, but it’s perfect. It nuzzled right up next to my Keurig and they were fast friends! It is so lightweight and easy to move… and I love how small the little capsules are.
Right out of the box it was SO easy to use. The instruction booklets were so easy and set up literally takes seconds. In fact, aside from washing the water basin as recommended, we went from taking it out of the box to enjoying a nice yummy cup of espresso in under 5 minutes.
As you might know, and I am learning, there as so many drink recipes that you can create to go alone with this little machine. I am really excited to try them all out. The unit came with some included recipe suggestions and I have been finding all kinds of neat recipes online. Oh! And I was also super excited that this review gave me the chance to use the little mug that my son made in second grade and he thought that was pretty cool too!
Did I mention how easy this thing is to use?? You literally pull out the top piece and drop in the capsule. Shut it and push a button. I also love that once you are done, the empty capsule drops down into a holding area below so that you can remove it later.
Speaking of capsules, I also reviewed these HiLine Nespresso compatible capsules from Cross Country Cafe. There are 10 capsules per box and I love how small these capsules are, which makes the boxes small, which makes the storage awesome! You can also find these Hiline Coffee Nespresso Compatible Capsules right now on the Cross Country Cafe website starting at just $4.49 per box of 10!
My thoughts overall? I think that the Nespresso Inissia Espresso Maker is an excellent gift idea for any coffee lover. Now that I have seen the actual size of this product I love this for just about anyone. It is so compact that it would be amazing for a college student, an office environment and/or any kitchen area because I think that we all kind of worry about counter space and this unit is perfectly compact and yet it serves up a very serious cup of espresso!
I also love the price point and the fact that if you do gift this to someone, they won’t go broke trying to keep capsules on hand. They are actually very affordable, and we really enjoyed the ones that we reviews, and I think that if this is for a gift, I would definitely recommend you pairing the Nespresso Espresso maker with the HiLine Nespresso Compatible Capsules Variety Pack which sells for $37.00 and will provide 70 capsules in a variety of flavors. Now that is a great gift for any coffee lover!
