Oh how we love to travel! It’s such a wonderful way to spend quality time together and experience new things, places and people. The food, the scenery and just getting away and unplugging from all of the day to day tasks of home.

We’ve been traveling with our kids since they were tiny and in our many adventures I find that there are priceless little unexpected moments that become treasured memories. I think that’s what I love so much about travel, it’s creating these moments in time that we will cherish forever.

Where are the best places to go for family adventure? I don’t think it’s so much about the place as it is the people that you are with. We often start planning our journey by taking a poll to see where everyone wants to go and then we work on our bucket list from there. Staying within your travel budget is important too – but if you plan ahead, you can save on travel in so many different ways.
