What are YOUR Bare Necessities?
See that grubby little hand there? The one clutching a daisy, attached to the adorable little girl in the hat? These moments, these memories, the messy long walks in the woods – these are MY bare necessities. Time with my littles before they get to be big. Moments with my family hiking hills, taking road trips or even just a late night board game.
These are the moments that more than anything else, matter most. Why? Because at the end of the day, the one thing that I need most out of this life is time with my loves. Time is fleeting and it is precious and the making of memories fills my heart.
What are YOUR bare necessities?
I have loved THE JUNGLE BOOK since I was a kid, and the new live-action movie is definitely a family favorite. I was so happy that they include a version of “The Bare Necessities” (see clip below) in this film because quite honestly, I can’t imagine this movie without it. The bare necessities are the simple things and they lead to the simple joys of life.
