This Vegan and Dairy Free Banana Shake recipe is so easy and a great way to grab a healthy breakfast on the run!

I’ve been trying up my game in the healthy eating department, and I’m finding that for as much as I do love dairy, I think my body enjoys a break from it. You can, of course, make this recipe with dairy if you prefer. The main point is that it’s a quick drink recipe to make and might be a nice addition to your day if you are looking for ways to fuel your body!

Makes 2 adult sized servings.

Ingredients

Instructions

1. Peel and cut the ripe bananas into slices, then freeze until solid in an air tight container. This could take just an hour if the banana is cut into small enough pieces.
When frozen, place them in the blender along with the 1.5 cups of plant milk and flax meal.

2. Blend on high until you have a thick but even consistency.
Pour into your favorite glass or bottle and enjoy within a half hour-or don’t and pop it in the fridge to enjoy within 24 hours for a banana milk vs banana shake.

*Note: Some separation may happen if letting it sit before enjoying. A quick shake or mix up will pull it right back together again. Enjoy!
