No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars

These No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars are sooooo delicious! (and NO BAKE, score!!) They are also quite dense (and did I mention delicious??) so I actually prefer to cut them into tiny one inch bite sized cubes.
 
Best of all, these Peanut Butter Oat Bars are a no-bake recipe which means that you can use the stovetop and spare the heat from the oven!

A good no-bake cookie bar recipe is hard to find but they are my favorite! I love this one because not only are they delicious but they are so easy! My teenagers love to make them and of course, I don’t mind because I love to eat them! 

Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars

I try to keep the ingredients on hand so that we can make these no-bakes on a moments notice. This is a great recipe for those last minute desserts but it is also a great recipe for parties and bake sales! 

Just a few ingredients and SO delicious! These No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars are SO good!

Ingredients for No Bake Peanut Butter Bars

1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups oatmeal (quick cooking is fine)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy

Directions for these Easy No Bake Cookie Bars

Melt butter, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan stirring frequently. Mix in oats.

Press half of the mixture into a greased 9×9 pan and set aside.

Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter on low stirring constantly until smooth and combined. Pour over crust in pan and spread evenly over crust.

Top with remaining oat mixture (I used my fingers) and gently press into the chocolate layer.

Refrigerate at least four hours or overnight.

Let set at room temperature for about 10 minutes before cutting into bars and serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
