How to Make the Pumpkin Brown Sugar Syrup
Heat a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the water, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice.
Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until all of the sugar has dissolved— about five minutes.
Allow the mixture to cool and then transfer it to an airtight container. Store the syrup in the refrigerator until ready to use.
How to Make the Latte
Combine the pumpkin brown sugar syrup and espresso in the bottom of a mug.
How to Make Frothed Milk at Home
- Use a milk frothing wand (they’re very cheap!) OR use an electric frother. I use the HadinEEon Milk Frother, 4 in 1 Electric Milk Frother and Steamer.
- Place the milk in the blender for 10-15 seconds, or until it starts to thicken
- Add the milk to a mason jar and shake it vigorously for 30-60 seconds, or until it starts to thicken.
Pour the frothed milk over the espresso. Top with a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice and an additional drizzle of pumpkin spice syrup, if desired. Enjoy.
Recipe Notes
Prep Time: 5 minutes. Cook Time: 5 Minutes.
Light or dark brown sugar will work in this recipe. Use whatever you have on hand!
Any milk will work in this recipe (even non-dairy) although whole milk will make the thickest, creamiest latte.
