Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup Recipe

Anyone else crazy about all things fall? I’m always looking for ways to incorporate pumpkin puree and pumpkin spice into my fall baking.

This easy to make homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup recipe will be a hit not only at the breakfast table, but this syrup also makes a delicious topping for your desserts and even a wonderful companion for your morning cup of coffee! (recipe coming soon!) 

One of my favorite thing about this homemade syrup recipe is how easy it is to make, and it adds such a fantastic flavor to whatever it is that you are making! 

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup Recipe

Ingredients for Pumpkin Syrup 

1 1/2 cups water 

1 cup brown sugar  (light or dark will work) 

1/2 cup pumpkin puree 

2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice 

How to make Homemade Pumpkin Syrup Recipe

How to Make Pumpkin Brown Sugar Syrup 

Heat a small saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the water, brown sugar, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. 

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until all of the sugar has dissolved— about five minutes. 

Allow the mixture to cool and then transfer it to an airtight container. Store the syrup in the refrigerator until ready to use.

So yummy and perfect for fall, this homemade pumpkin spice syrup recipe is a must have for all of your fall breakfasts and even desserts! Super easy to make, and wonderfully fragrant, this pumpkin syrup is an autumn must have! Keep the pumpkin spice on hand, these two are a great combination on everything from pancakes to ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups water
