It’s so crazy to be thinking about back to school but sadly, it’s right around the corner! Summer has us falling out of normal routines, especially the dinner schedule that we try to maintain during the school year. I’m always on the look out for new and exciting (and let’s be honest: EASY) recipes to add to our rotation and I’m thrilled to have discovered these new RAGÚ Simply Creamy Sauces!

The new RAGÚ Simply Creamy sauces come in two flavors: Garlic Parmesan & Alfredo. Even more exciting is the fact that these sauces contain half the fat of the RAGÚ Classic Alfredo Sauce and yet, offer the same taste and texture.

Made with milk and cauliflower in place of heavy cream, these are a fantastic option for anyone looking to get that great taste while cutting out some of those unwanted fat calories.

We recently put these sauces to the test, and I’m excited to share the results with you because as I’ve said before, I’m a HUGE fan of EASY recipes. I mean, truth be told, if I’m going to make a fancy dinner, I’m going to make my own sauce. And guess when that happens? Rarely and definitely not on a school / sports night, that’s for sure! But, I have a family that loves to eat including a teenage boy who can’t seem to eat enough these days!

I wanted to create a quick, simple and affordable meal with these and my family was thrilled with the results!

Easy Angel Hair Pasta and Kielbasa Sausage with RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce

So, like all great busy mom recipes, this one has just a few ingredients:

Ingredients for making this EASY Pasta Dish

1 jar of RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce (we’ll try this next time with the Garlic Parmesan Sauce)
Angel Hair Pasta (16oz box)
4 Kielbasa Sausages Chopped (pre-cooked)
Seasoning to taste (I also added in red pepper flakes)

Directions for making this EASY Pasta Dish with RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce

This recipe is as easy as it looks!

Cook and drain your pasta noodles. I used angel hair pasta.
Cut and fry your kielbasa sausage. I used pre-cooked so I browned them in the pan and then added 1 jar of RAGÚ Simply Creamy Alfredo with Cauliflower Sauce and cooked on medium for another five minutes. Add preferred spices to your sausage and sauce mixture.
Serve over pasta.

I will typically add bread and/or a side salad to a meal like this but overall, so easy to throw together and still a meal that I feel good about and fills my family up. I don’t want to feel guilty about the lack of time I have to spend in the kitchen some days, and for that reason, I go back to meals and recipes like this over and over again.

  1. I want to use that frozen shrimp already cooked with shell off, tail off and deveined. About $5.00 or so for the bag. Anyways, was wondering if this sauce is freezable? What do you think?

  2. Oh gosh, that’s a great question – I don’t see why it wouldn’t be but I haven’t tried it. I want to say it would work, but if you try it, let me know!

  3. I wish I didn’t have to go to Walmart to get this. I have been buying them out as much as possible but Walmart is quite far from me and they haven’t had it in stock since before the pandemic, it would seem. They may be yanking it from their assortment. SO BUMMED THAT THIS PRODUCT MIGHT BE DISCONTINUED. I hate when I fall in love with a product when it gets discontinued, especially when I’m not given the opportunity to properly stock up on it!

  4. Why is it when a person finds a food item that tastes good & is a healthier option always ends up getting discontinued – always !!!
