Mother’s Day Gift Idea:
Hydroponic Microgreens Starter Kit from True Leaf Market
*Disclosure: This is a sponsored post done in partnership with True Leaf Market. All opinions are 100% my own.
How amazing would it be to have this growing in your kitchen? I’ve been wanting to try my hand at growing hydroponic microgreens for some time now and thanks to the folks at True Leaf Market, I’m getting the opportunity to do just that!
I’ve partnered with them to test out my green thumb and with Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought it would be a great opportunity to share the process with you as this was actually an item on my own Mother’s Day wish list, so I am thinking it might be on many other lists as well. We eat a lot of salads around here and I love the idea of being able to grown (and pick!) these fresh greens right from my own kitchen!
This kit is available right now on the True Leaf Market site. Priced very reasonably at under $60, this kit comes with so many products! Shipping is free on all orders over $45 so make sure to check out all of the other wonderful gift ideas on the True Leaf Market website. I love the idea of gifting garden products!
I think that my favorite thing about this kit is that not only does it give you everything that you need to get started, but it always simplifies the process and eases you into growing what will turn out to be a pretty fantastic display of greens!
Here’s what your kit looks like when it first arrives:
We are currently in the process of growing our microgreens, but here’s a peek at the products right out of the box:
I did a short video to give you an idea of just how this all comes together out of the box. We’ve got our set all ready to start growing and I can’t wait to share with you the finished results. Due to the growing time needed, I wanted to get this post up to share with you what this all looks like in case this is a gift idea that you are considering and I’ll be back to share our growing story with you soon!

I’m no master gardener, but I do love sharing garden tips from time to time. I haven’t grown things indoors before, so this entire growing venture has been a little out of my comfort zone. I’ve been wanting to do something like this, but didn’t feel like I was equipped with the knowledge nor the supplies, and thanks to the folks at True Leaf Market, it has been an easy to follow step by step growing process and I feel confident that if this doesn’t go the way I’m hoping, the folks from True Leaf are there to help turn me into the master gardner that I’ve always dreamed of being. Ok, well if not that then at least a chick who can grow and enjoy her own fresh microgreens right from within her own home, right?
