INCREDIBLE! I’m Headed to LA to Meet My Favorite Supers!

I’m so excited for everyone to see this movie! It’s been 14 years since we fell in love with the INCREDIBLES and the action picks right back off where it ended so many years ago. Your favorite super family is as super as ever, and I think you are going to love their latest adventure.
I had the chance to screen this movie in LA a few weeks ago! You can read my cast interviews with Mr. and Mrs. Incredible (Holly Hunter and Craig T. Nelson) along with my interview with Frozone (Samuel L. Jackson) from earlier this week and don’t forget to catch the wonderful little short before the movie: Bao. In INCREDIBLES 2, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side.
After waiting 14 years for a sequel, did this movie live up to the hype? In my opinion, it totally did. Somehow the magical minds behind INCREDIBLES 2 brought us the same family that we know and love but they integrated some modern issues, challenges and topics that are not only entertaining, but great conversation starters!
It turns out that in this movie, Mrs. Incredible is called to save the world, while Mr. Incredible is stepping up to take care of things at home. I loved this messaging and how they worked together to do what they had to do to provide for their family.
The humor we experience while dad tries to do “mom” things is entertaining, but also heart warming because at the end of the day, he gets the job done and this film shows us that marriage is really about working together.
You’ll also see some strong messaging about friendship, inclusion and accepting others for who they are and celebrating our individual talents.
And of course, Frozone is back and as fabulous as ever!
I think there is some fun humor in this movie that adults will appreciate and one of my favorite things about it is that it’s great for the entire family. No spoilers from me though, you’ll have to go see all of the SUPER excitement for yourself!
