INCREDIBLE! I’m Headed to LA to Meet My Favorite Supers!

Disclosure: This event is sponsored by Disney. All expenses are paid in exchange for my coverage of the interviews and events. All opinions and character crushes are 100% my own.

I’m so giddy about this movie!! I feel like I’ve waiting SO long for my favorite super family to come back to the big screen and I’m headed to LA to not only screen Incredibles 2 but also attend Pixar Fest at Disneyland!

I’ll be attending Pixar Play Parade and enjoying the “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular” and I can’t wait to check out and report back to you all of the wonderful happenings, characters and treats that this time at Disneyland will include!

As you might know, I’ve been posting a LOT lately about ways to save at Disneyland so if you are planning a future visit, don’t forget to check out all of my posts about saving at Disneyland!

I can’t wait to be there in person to check it all out and share!!

Pixar Fest runs from April 13-September 3, 2018

And of course, all of this excitement centers around the fact that INCREDIBLES 2 hits theaters this month!! I can’t wait to screen this movie, the original has been a family favorite since my kids were born!

In INCREDIBLES 2, Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose superpowers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side.

And if that’s not exciting enough, I’ll also be attending a press junket where I’ll be interviewing Craig T. Nelson (voice of “Bob Parr / Mr. Incredible”) & Holly Hunter (“Helen Parr / Elastigirl”), Samuel L. Jackson (voice of “Lucius Best / Frozone”), “Bao” Director Domee Shi & Producer Becky Neiman, Sophia Bush (voice of “Voyd”), Sarah Vowell (voice of “Violet Parr”) & Huck Milner (voice of “Dash Parr””) and Bob Odenkirk (voice of “Winston Deavor”) & Catherine Keener (“Evelyn Deavor”)

How crazy is that? Make sure to follow these hashtags to keep up with all of the excitement: #Incredibles2Event, #BigCityGreensEvent, #PixarFest & #Disneyland

Big City Greens

Also on the agenda for my trip is a screening and Q&A with the series creators, brothers Chris and Shane Houghton (“Harvey Beaks”). They also serve as the executive producers alongside Emmy Award-winning Rob Renzetti (“Gravity Falls”).

“Big City Greens” follows the offbeat adventures of 10-year-old Cricket Green, whose natural curiosity and enthusiasm lead him and his family – older sister Tilly, father Bill and Gramma Alice – on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbors.

The voice cast is Chris Houghton as Cricket Green, Artemis Pebdani (ABC’s “Scandal”) as sweet Gramma Alice, Marieve Herington (“How I Met Your Mother”) as quirky older sister Tilly Green and Bob Joles (“Puss in Boots”) as hard-working father Bill Green.

The guest voice cast includes Emmy® Award-winner Jon Hamm (“Mad Men”) as store manager Louis; Emmy Award-nominated Raven-Symoné (“Raven’s Home”) as news reporter Maria Media; GRAMMY® Award-nominated Busta Rhymes as a wise fish; Danny Trejo (“Spy Kids”) as bodyguard Vasquez; Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange Is the New Black”) as Rashida Remington; Academy Award® winner Jim Rash (“The Descendants,” “Community”) as waiter Ted; Paul F. Tompkins (“Bajillion Dollar Propertie$”) and Lauren Lapkus (“Orange Is the New Black”) as city hipsters Justin and Val; Andy Daly (“Silicon Valley”) as Officer Keys; Scott Aukerman (“Comedy Bang! Bang!”) as a radio DJ; Griffin McElroy (“My Brother, My Brother and Me”) as a pepper merchant; Paul Scheer (ABC’s “Fresh Off the Boat”) as supermarket manager Chip Whistler; Zeno Robinson (Marvel’s “Spider-Man”) as Cricket’s best friend, Remy; Lorraine Toussaint (“Orange Is the New Black”) as Remy’s mom; Colton Dunn (NBC’s “Superstore”) as Remy’s dad; and Anna Akana (“Youth & Consequences”) as café barista, Gloria.

Big City Greens will debut on June 16, 2018

I’m so excited for this event and I hope that you’ll follow along! If you have any questions for my interviews, please send them my way!
