My family loves bundt cakes and I love finding new and exciting versions. This Brown Sugar Bundt Cake is amazing and if you love maple sweet flavoring, I’ve also included the options brown butter sauce recipe below. That part is totally optional, but highly recommended!
As with most cakes, this one also happens to go amazingly with vanilla ice cream.
Brown Sugar Bundt Cake Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
- 2 stick – unsalted butter
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup milk
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Ingredients
- 2 ¼ cups all purpose flour
- 2 stick – unsalted butter
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- ¾ cup milk
- Optional Brown Butter Sauce Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a bundt cake pan with non-stick spray.
In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
In another bowl, combine the brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla extract and butter. Mix together until well combined. Add in the eggs, mixing between each one. Start to add in the flour mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix on low speed until the batter is creamy and well combined.
Pour into your prepared bundt pan and bake for an hour. Cool for 10 minutes and invert onto a cooling rack until completely cooled.
Optional brown butter sauce:
In a small saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, milk, maple syrup and stir until a rolling boil. Continue mixing for 2 minutes and then remove from the burner. Mix in the vanilla extract and allow to cool until thickened. Serve as a side to your cake or drizzle on top.
