Oh my goodness, is it really that time of year already!? My kids go back to school in a couple of weeks and I’m sad to see the summer coming to an end, but I’m quite proud of myself as I’m actually on top of the whole back to school thing!
I’ve been picking up deals here and there, and as you know I have shared the really hot finds when I see them but I also decided to give Oriental Trading Company a try for back to school supplies shopping this year and I have to say, I am pleasantly surprised! As you can see from the photo above, I ordered a wide variety of school supplies from Oriental Trading Company and most of them are brand name!
They had some fun deals on Crayola Products, and my daughter was over the moon excited because she finally got the 64 Crayola crayon box WITH sharpener! (I was secretly jealous because I never did get that big box when I was a kid!) Oriental Trading Company sells them for $4.99 which I thought was a pretty great deal!
One thing that I loved about shopping at Oriental Trading Company for back to school shopping was that I was able to grab the things that my kids needed, but also buy in bulk so that I would have additional items to donate to our favorite teachers and classrooms. I was able to grab this set of a dozen scissors for just $4.99. We will keep a couple and donate the rest!
And I can’t tell you why, but I LOVE these smiley face pencil top erasers!! One thing that I have noticed in my years of volunteering at the school is that pencils seem to last much longer than the erasers. Each year I try to buy a big lot of pencil top erasers to have on hand so we can extend pencil life!
My daughter LOVES the folders that we picked out and again, by buying them in bulk we will have plenty left over to share! We were able to get a dozen of these fun print pocket folders for $6.97!
