Filling your box is part of the fun, and I really enjoy the chance to do these types of activities with my kids. We keep our eyes out all year long for sale items – holiday clearance is a GREAT way to find items for boxes. For example, last Easter we found pre-assembled Easter baskets at 90% off. Once we took the basket apart, the individual items were perfect for our charity boxes. We are always keep an eye out for items to use, and it’s a great way to encourage your children to think of others.
