Teleflora Celebrates Moms

Because motherhood isn’t easy (duh) and because motherhood can sometimes be a thankless job. It also just so happens to be, in my opinion, the greatest job on earth. Possibly the most important too. See those two little tiny people in the photo frame behind my beautiful bouquet (above) … they are my world. It hasn’t always been easy, but I’m #OneToughMother and I own every bit of that.

My One Tough Mother Story?
Yea. I have one. It started with a 3 day (THREE day!) labor that ended in an emergency c-section and the most beautiful little boy that I had ever laid my eyes on. He came into the world fighting and I feel like we have been toughing out this life together ever since. Motherhood is awesome, amazing, exciting, exhausting and it is TOUGH.
Watching your kids struggle through everything from making new friends to trying out for sports teams, it’s tough. When our kids hurt, we hurt. We ask them to be strong but we need to be stronger because we are their soft place to fall when things don’t go the way that we (they) had hoped. Being a mother means loving another person more than you could ever love yourself, and taking on all of the joys and the pains that come along with that. Am I one tough mother? Yes. I most certainly am. And if you are a mom, then I would be willing to bet that you are one too.
