Looking for something easy and different to make the kids this week? They will love these homemade fruit snacks AKA Fruity Gelatin Snack Bites!

Not only easy (as in SUPER easy!) to make, but these homemade fruit snacks make a nice treat for little hands and they really are perfect for busy moms because they are so simple and yummy too!

They are great to make for everyday snacking and they also make fun little party or playdate treats. You can make them in all kinds of shapes and flavors and my kids have always enjoyed helping me make treats like this.

Gelatin Ingredients

Ingredients for making homemade fruit snacks

How to make homemade fruit snacks

In a small measuring cup, add 1/2 cup of the juice and gelatin. Stir and let set for five minutes.

On the stove top, bring 1-1/2 cups of juice to a boil. Add softened gelatin and stir constantly until dissolved.

Spray a square baking pan with cooking spray. Pour gelatin into the pan and let set, cooling to room temperature. Add blueberries.

 

Gelatin Fruit Snacks

Refrigerate 3-4 hours of until firm. Use cookie cutters to cut into shapes or slice as you wish.

To remove from the pan, place the bottom of the pan in warm water for 15 seconds. Store in the refrigerator for up to five days.

Makes 16-20 snack bites.

So easy to make and kids love them! These easy homemade fruit snacks are always a hit with the little ones! Fun to eat and affordable to make, they'll love the fact that you can make them yummy gelatin treats at home!

Ingredients

  • 2 envelopes, unflavored gelatin
  • 2 cups pomegranate juice
