Military Discounts
Military Discounts
If you serve or have served in the military, THANK YOU!! And while thank you never seems like much (or enough) many business want to thank you with military discounts!
Many businesses offer a military discount. Usually, all that you will have to do is show them your military ID.
If you are a veteran or retired military you might have a logo on your driver license that works as your ID. Otherwise, you might need to show a copy of your DD214. Every business handles this differently, but keep in mind, it never hurts to ask.
Carnival Cruise Military Discounts
Did you know that Carnival Cruise Lines offers military discounts? I’ve shared many times about my love for Carnival Cruise Lines and this is just another reason that we love them.
They partner with some of our favorite charities and we are big fans of the Carnival partnership with St. Jude Children’s Hospital and we love the fact that Carnival supports our military men and women and their families.
You can get 10% off your vacation with military discounts through Carnival Cruises. Only available when you call in to book.

Military families can get a year pass to the National Parks for free. This is great if you are traveling or PCSing across the country!
Sears and Kmart
They sponsor the Heroes at Home program each year to help military families with Christmas. Sears also offers military discounts on tools from time to time, so that is definitely worth inquiring about if you are in the market for new tools!

Showcase Cinemas and Cinemark Cinemas offer a military discount when you go see a movie.
Apple
Apple offers a government discount for all government employees including the military. This applies to everything from phones and computers to accessories.
Many Restaurants
Many restaurants offer a military discount. Places like IHOP, Applebees, Friendly’s Ice Cream, Denny’s just to name a few. Never be afraid to ask. If they don’t currently offer a discount, maybe your question will prompt them to consider implementing a military discount program.
Clothing Stores
Many clothing stores offer discounts for military men and women as well.
Stores like Macy’s, Hot Topic, Old Navy, Nike, Pac Sun, and more. Again, if you don’t see it posted, ask. It can’t hurt! Many retailers offer them, even the smallest stores.
I love that so many businesses are willing to offer these gestures as a way to say thank you for your service, even though thank you never seems like enough! And again, I thank you!!
Make sure to check out our round up of Teacher Discounts as well, you’ll find that many of the same brands support our teachers as well!
