No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars
Chocolate Peanut Butter Oat Bars
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp vanilla
3 1/2 cups oatmeal (quick cooking is fine)
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter, creamy
Directions:
Melt butter, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan stirring frequently. Mix in oats.

Press half of the mixture into a greased 9×9 pan and set aside.
Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter on low stirring constantly until smooth and combined. Pour over crust in pan and spread evenly over crust.
Top with remaining oat mixture (I used my fingers) and gently press into the chocolate layer.
Refrigerate at least four hours or overnight.
Let set at room temperature for about 10 minutes before cutting into bars and serving. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
