Merry KISS Mouse Hersheys Kiss Ornament Craft

Kiss Mouse

I hope you have been enjoying our fun and simple candy ornaments, if you (and I sure hope you are!) then I have a couple more for you! These not only make fabulous ornaments and craft projects for the kids but they can be added to packages to dress them up a bit and provide a bit of sweet tastiness too!

These Merry Kiss Mouse Hershey’s Kiss craft ornaments are so fun! I am sending in a batch of these for my daughter to share with his classmates and teacher. These kinds of projects are the ones your kids will remember years later when they are searching for things to do with their own kids. I know I can look back fondly and remember making many of these crafts with my mom. (of course if you are making  these with kids you will want to use a craft glue or strong double sided tape instead of hot glue)

Supplies Needed:

2 silver Hershey Kiss
2 small googly eyes
Pink chenille stem
brown chenille stem
small brown buttons
low temp glue gun.sticks or quick drying craft glue
string

Directions:

Gather all supplies and have them ready, lug in glue gun and let it heat while you prepare items.

Cut a 2” length of twine or ribbon for hanger.

Cut a small piece of pink chenille stem (like ⅛”)

Cut a 1 ½” length of brown stem, wrap ¾ of it around a pencil to make a curly tail.

Place a good size dab of glue on the flat bottom of one kiss, quickly press straight end of tail and hanger into glue, then add the other kiss and push together- hold for one minute or until set.

Add button ears, eyes, and a sweet little nose to complete your mouse.

Who wouldn’t enjoy seeing this cute little creature stirring? He is ALMOST too sweet to eat!

Don’t have all these items on hand? Don’t stress! Ears and tail can be cut from brown craft foam, paper, or felt. A tiny pink pompom also makes a great nose! Use what you have on hand to make this fun and stress free project.
